Having been in the ESA Support group for many yrs my wife ( 18 months younger) and I have now been moved from ESA and onto UC as  I am now 66 and started claiming my state pension

Only on UC for 11 more months as my wife will then claim her SP

Seems the mixed age couple rules changed in 2019

The wife also falls under the WASPI women claim which is an injustise in itself

Anyone else going through all of this faffing about?

Vaguely interested to hear about this. Although I claim ESA, I don’t qualify for any money, but I do get my stamp paid for. I guess this aspect will cease for you even if you are on UC?
