Just reading through the February 2021 issue of Motability’s Lifestyle magazine and the vast majority of vehicle advertisements no longer show the AP prices. Looking back at earlier issues of the magazine nearly all the ads had AP prices in them.

I wonder why?

With the way cars appear and disappear on the Motability website, then return with amended advance payments (and/or updated models etc) the advance payments in the magazine could well be out of date before it is even printed/distributed.

Hence, they are probably erring on the side of caution by not publishing the AP’s and expect the customer to either go online to the Motability website or go via a dealer to check the current AP’s.

It is probably the same reason they stopped the quarterly price guides.
