Hello everyone just a quick question sorry regarding when the first payment is collected from motability

We are due to collect the new car tomorrow afternoon, and my next 4 weekly PIP payment is due next Friday the 27th March. Would anyone know how it all works etc with the collection ? Would I still get my full amount next week for example and then the following payment reduced ? Thank you ?

Motability Operations receives the 4 weekly payment for the lease agreement as a direct transfer from the relevant benefits agency. If there is a balance due back to yourself, then motability will ensure they let DWP Pip know this.

Mobility will send you a pack outlining the lease terms and it will include the date of collection….
Normally, it will be the first payment after you collect the vehicle… in your case the 27th march.
