Was contacted by my local group 1 Mercedes dealer ,need first service can I bring car in today 27/2/23 midday , can wait for car , so went with my friend carerer only to find building work going on ,all service dept in portacabin ,they thought of disabled loos but NO WHEELCHAIR DISABLED ACCESS?? To portacabin reception area ,so we had to take car home with no service done ,they now say they will collect my car ,service it return it Thursday ?, I hope no more problems , don’t think I will ever have another Mercedes, if on or not on scheme.

The car is clever ,had minor problems ,had EXELLENT care from my dealership rep Mr Smith , but Mercedes company ??? Looking at reviews all 1 red *.
Don’t think I would have another Mercedes,cla.sb ,not enough room ,can only take 2 kids in rear ,can only just get wheelchair in .but some people never even got a car at that time ,pandemic etc.
In the area I live in , I no longer enjoy visiting car showrooms ,they seem to have few cars on display ,whichever manufacturer ,no drinks in showroom now ,little interest in customers , is it something to do with pandemic times ??, Other than test drives when looking for new car ,I happy not to visit car showrooms now.
Yes, total agree. What should be one of the biggest commitments we make, just isn’t enjoyable. Most of the salesmen in the dealerships seem to have graduated from contact centres cold calling for PPI , Energy deals and accident claims. Only interested in a sale now!
Many now ask you to make an appointment before you arrive. I flatly refuse to do that – if they don’t have sales staff available a good sign the service department will be the same.
And my biggest annoyance “The demonstrator is on long term loan to ….” If it is on long term loan, it clearly is some dodgy deal involving sponsorship.
