Mattt<p style=”text-align: center;”>Great news Kirstymc. I’ve had my CLA for a year and a half now and love it! Still makes me smile everytime I get in it!</p>

JasonThat’s great news. We have one on order from August 2021, still not heard anything recently. Can’t wait to get it but the wait is sooooooooo frustrating !!!!
April 9, 2022 at 9:35 am #182341I totally understand the waiting frustration. We have been informed of 1 spec change. There will be no electric seats as Mercedes’ can’t source the parts. Hubby not happy, but as long as everything else, which I’m told is original spec, arrives as it should then this isn’t major in my opinion

JasonAah ok that’s interesting, I’ve not been informed of anything but tbh expected changes. I was really hoping for the electric memory seats. So is the seat totally manual now or is it just the memory option that has been withdrawn ? We have a Premium plus on order.
April 10, 2022 at 6:26 pm #182431The whole chairs are manual. We too ordered a premium plus model. Was told all A class CLA and GLA will have no electric chairs. I’ve heard today, not from Mercedes’, but something to do with these parts are from Ukraine and that’s the issue

You wouldn’t want electric chairs anyway….they’re lethal!!
April 10, 2022 at 7:35 pm #182440Another contributor (Micky) took delivery of a CLA Shooting Break recently and was really stuffed by Mercedes, as the car was really a Premium, not Premium Plus, as it was missing so many features, yet he was still asked to pay the AP for the Premium Plus. I think that 99% of people, under normal circumstances, would have rejected the car, but in the current climate with ridiculously long lead times, dealers have customers over a barrel – and know it. If certain features are important to you I would double check that the car has them fitted before you accept the car by entering you PIN. You can reject the car at any stage, right up to that point.
April 10, 2022 at 7:40 pm #182442Thank you Glos Guy, I have read about Micky and his car. I did say to the dealer when they told me about the seats. Was that the only thing that was changed. She said yes. She’s emailed me the new CLA brochure. I definitely will not be entering the PIN if I’m not happy

ReneIf i’m not 100% mistaken, the spec changed in July 2021.
If the CLA was ordered in September, it should have mostly everything that was advertised. Or rather, in september the stuff that was missing for Mick was already not advertised anymore (augmented reality sat nav, parktronic etc).

MickyWhen order was placed ,all missing spec items where in cla 180 sb prem plus brocher June 2021, brocher changed Jan 2022 , plus driver ass pack an extra order ,which I never got , alot spec was removed for me ,never got car I ordered even though it was built, some other dealership got it , but after such long wait nearly 12 months, happy with what I have which is better than no car.

That’s simply not true. The brochure got updated in July 2021. In that brochure, the CLA already didn’t have the LEDs in the seats, nor parktronic, nor augmented reality sat nav etc.
It again got updated now in Jan 2022, where it lost the electrically adjustable seats. No idea if anything else changed, stopped following after it became clear that we’re not going for one.
For reference, here’s the July 2021 brochure.
