I thought there would be a lot of interest in this, it just shows you can’t second guess the threads that will be of interest.

WinstonSome great bargains there too mate
January 12, 2020 at 11:10 am #102885i3 £1749 off is an incredible offer especially as it includes the home EV charging point, and £999 of an X1, someone is going to have a bargain
Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.

SimonI thought you had to pay extra for the home charge point, the trouble is i live in a flat and a home charge point isn’t feasible. Do you think it would be possible to have it installed at my parents just a few minutes away or does it need to be at your home address?
January 12, 2020 at 11:29 am #102888Simon that’s a question for motability really, I would suspect the answer would be no, but there’s nothing to stop you fitting a charger yourself at your parents house.

SimonThanks Brydo, wouldn’t have even considered it until i saw the offer you posted. I only drive short distances so this would be perfect.
January 12, 2020 at 11:39 am #102891Simon its a FANTASTIC offer if the i3 is the car for you, I haven’t looked at grants for chargers for a long time but its worth having a look to see what’s available.

The salesman said he can’t believe how good the deal is and is checking with HQ tomorrow to make sure its not a mistake.

DebsAm confused, was looking at X1 yesterday at my local dealers. Also had a quick sit in the i3.
Are these offers from Marshalls group only or are the offers from BMWJanuary 12, 2020 at 4:04 pm #102913Marshalls only as far as I know.

DebsThanks for that Brydo.
I would be happy with X1 or i3 I think.
I did phone my nearest Marshalls BMW today, awaiting a call back.
Will post here when I near anything

DanteAmazing and shows that dealers have the capacity to shift vehicles and discount AP’s as incentive
Amazing AP discounts if you are able to travel to a dealer – even I would travel to the nearest marshel dealership – almost 200 miles round trip – to get an £0 AP on the X1
Alas just half way through current contract
good luck to those who manage to take up any of these offers
January 12, 2020 at 6:49 pm #102930Great news debs they are great deals, no doubt, and i love it when people get a bargain. Its the scotsman in me i think lol.

DebsIt’s the Yorkshire blood in me Brydo.
HOW MUCH!!!!!!!
January 12, 2020 at 10:08 pm #102936
DebsJust found this on BMW Motability price list for Q1.
Looks as if the home charger and installation is included in the deal.
Amazing value, especially if there is no AP
” A reduction in running costs by going electric. The all-electric BMW i3 and i3s range with enhanced 120Ah battery has a range of up to 188 miles* (wallbox and charging cable included).”
January 12, 2020 at 10:38 pm #102937It is a great deal and Ian has one and posted info on a thread previously.

Anything i post over three lines long please assume it is an article lol.January 13, 2020 at 6:13 am #102943The fact that the vehicle has to be ordered and registered by 31st March does this rule out a factory order?
Applying the theory ‘if something is too good to be true – it usually is’
January 13, 2020 at 9:25 am #102952If order and build times are still running at their came snails pace then it can only be for stock vehicles really.
