    Which Mobility Car

In these times of soaring fuel costs, the Dacia Duster from £795 Advance Payment offers a bi-fuel option, the 34 litre LPG tank sits where the spare wheel would be and switching over from petrol to LPG is apparently seamless.

It seems, where available, LPG is costing around £1 a litre, up from 69p a few weeks ago, as it has been hit by the oil prices in the same way as other fuels as LPG is extracted from crude oil.

I have to say I know very little about LPG as a car fuel but if there is a fuel station near you it could be an option and you could save quite a bit of money.

LPG has less energy than petrol so expect to burn 20% more of it. Still cheaper though…

I don’t know much about LPG vehicles, regarding the range. I do however work at a petrol station that sells LPG @ 72p a litre. Our customers love it. We have quite a few Dacia duster customers. Just be aware that the fuel stations that sell LPG are few and far between. If you are lucky enough to live near one of these, then definitely look into it if the car suits your needs.

Not allowed on the channel tunnel with LPG.
