So as of sept 10th this year I’m into my last year of my pip award, currently on an extension on my current motability car.

when the i4 came on the list after a lengthy test drive I signed up for it at the end of august just within my final 12 months.   Must admit today with the new price list my heads been turned by the ioniq 5 AWD now within my budget.

does the fact I signed up for “something” before I got into the final 12months count for anything in terms of changing my order?  I’m pretty sure I’m stuffed so to speak as Hyundai salesman and computer will say no when it comes to entering end dates for pip award.

just curious though if I had an options to explore,  not gonna be disappointed with the i4 for sure

I would assume going by the general rules that you cannot order now that you are under 12 months of PIP but would be best to speak to Motability directly.

I have been waiting 10 months for my car, and asked if I could cancel and order something else but they said no I cannot as my PIP is now under 12 months.

yeah I’d expect the same response as you got there.  I’ll mull it tonight but I’m thinking my thoughts about the iconiq may have been a knee jerk reaction to the price drop.

They might be flexible given the mess the DWP are still in. My last recent renewal, filled forms in Nov award was due to end July by September they still hadn’t even looked at my case and we’re doing the month by month renewal nonsense which my MP got sorted out immediately luckily.
