I love listening to spotify on my kia radio , great sound ,i suppose when android apps displayed via bluetooth ,or plug in , maybe then when driveing can use hey google ??.
Kia app isn’t good not coming from Mercedes ME app. Also my front parking sensors don’t work I need to press the button for them to come on, iv not had time to play about with the settings but on reverse the sensors come on.
also my sunroof blind rattles and so annoying but the drive is great and very comfortable compared to a CLA
I wonder if the latest Bluelink will work on Kia’s as it offers a “very” few differences but, enough to make it an upgrade. That said thet are more geared to EV’s.
The kia app is cheep nasty ,last night i had msgs on it ,engine still running do you want valet mode ????. So i went to check ,wasnt running ,dont think it will lock if engine running. I had problem with rear sensors ,but, i have learnt all settings now ,so should function now, ive taught myself all settings in car which is quite extensive , voice cammands work but are not extensive, tomorrow i will use cruse control adaptive , lane keep & lane assist. I dont like parking with all round view ,im happy use big wing mirrors, i do love the car though ,only few odd bits.

Yes lane assist is good as i do alot of motorway driving i done 70k on the CLA.
But the front sensors is annoying need to send it back to them to check them out I am not having it u need to press the button for them to work.
overall car is great but app is rubbish, cant lock ur doors or even track the car when moving like Mercedes ME.
The ambient lighting on my sportage is not very bright even turned up to 10 brightness ,small thing.
Theres alot you can turn on in settings, i think when cars built ,checks made that things function, but items are left on & some off in settings. When car sent out ,dealership maybe should of done that ,but drivers want some on some off.

That will be interesting! However I expect it will have to be an app mirrowing YT and running through some like android auto.

Never had a car that leave’s the fron’t sensors on as default! Imagine in slow bumber to bumber traffic, adding an extra layer of beeps to the equasion 😂
Yes its not a Mercedes (which have better ambient lighting than BMW) but there is some but poor but thats fine waste a time anyway. Here a picture of mine.

To specify a little more
To enable front sensors you have to press the button as I also have to do on my BMW however, the front and rear sensors come on automatically when in reverse or by using remote park assist.
Try section 7 of the manual or the first few pages in the manual where it highlights what each button is for and give’s page reference number/s.

Turn it on with your rt hand and hope it stays on, if not wedge it with a small piece of card. I had to do that with my previos Tuscon autohold button lol.

I don’t have a right hand either (dont have any hands) use a stylist to txt with my mouth 😂 but will try that its a bloody great car I do like it.

If it doesn’t stay on after restart get a faily member or friend wedge a small bit of card for you.
How easy is it to use the 360 camera’s? There must be something that can be done to easily enable the fron’t camera when in drive.
Edit what might be an option, speak with Motability abit reprogramming the parking sensor button as on by default. This is in Kia’s capability, so is disabling the froont sensor beeps, so no getting false triggers in city traffic and relying on the on screen display closeness lights?

With sportage stearing wheel ,i find it very slippery with gloves ,so, ive ordered cover for it with better grip. Small thing but gota be comfortable driveing.
