I have 75 WPP shares on a share certificate I have had then years and paid a £1 each for them around £75 I see the price now is around £10.10p each ?? I would like to sell them just a one off I have no more shares but I’m nervous about giving my bank account details to say a company like Hargreaves’s landsdown etc would they pay me by cheque in the post ? Any help would be most welcome thankyou

How did you buy them? I have shares for my isa and Sipp pension. You would usually sell them via the company that are holding them for you. Hargreaves Lansdown are a very reputable company, if you are sure you are definitely dealing with them and they have not cold called you, I wouldn’t be too worried about giving them your bank details.
