brydoA was parked next to a new discovery yesterday and it had a grey paint finish that looked great but looked more ceramic than paint.
Am I just imagining this or is there a new paint finish going around?

Well they do do a variety of finishes.

BrydoLooking at that Bandit i am guessing it would be SATIN MATTE FINISH i saw but can`t be sure.
November 12, 2019 at 5:25 pm #96257The same effect can be achieved by car detailers and finishing of the paint work with ceramic protection such as Feylabs

brydoMaybe Wayne, it looked really good and a bit different. If I see it again I’m going to have a chat with the driver.
Mrs brydo loves land rovers, and you know the saying “happy wife”………………..” broke husband ” lol.

JamesI also love land rovers but they aren’t reliable, we owned two prior to joining the scheme and they both had loads of issues and it was rare to not have a light on the dash.
But if they joined the scheme I would certainly have another and just not worry about the ridiculous costs associated with them… full service every 6000 miles due to oil dilution, new dpf after 27000 miles and two years (not covered in warranty due to fair wear and tear) tyres lasting 12000 miles and £1200 a set….etc…etc
November 14, 2019 at 1:21 pm #96463Absolutely Brydo ??
And I agree with James, I’ve owned Land Rover’s and Jags and they’re shocking. I had an XF that was my dream car but turned into the nightmare from hell. Three years old, FSH and ended up with nearly £10k worth of breakdowns before the engine went bang. Even though it was a design fault Jaguar would not budge. So the car was scrapped. They wanted £9k for a new engine and that’s without new turbo’s. (Didn’t even price that).
☹️? I will be remembered for nothing but had great fun doing it ?

BrydoJust to tease the Land Rover fans this is the New 2021 Range Rover Crossover to arrive with all-electric and hybrid power

Unlikely to be on the scheme anytime soon, but we can dream lol.
November 15, 2019 at 2:12 am #96550It’s not a wrap, it’s the direction they are going in it’s part of the revamped 90 and 110 revisesed range. The Matt look will play a big part in the coming few years.
