Apparently GP are threatening to go on strike before the election, my question how will we know any different

Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.

        Who are they!

I now call my GP a call centre miracal healer, that heals through telephony or attempts to anyway!

GP’s today aren’t worth sh*t, not like in the old days and I was born in 1980.

Today it is all about money, 5 – 10 minute appointments, get as many people through the doors, earn your ludicrous salary, have private sessions in the evening, earn your bonus, get kickbacks from big pharma and go on strike!

What happened to GP’s that actually were in the job to help people and not in the job just to make the big bucks!

Humanity is only humanity when all are treated the same regardless of their skin tone, religious beliefs and geography!

I’m not going to lie i have a brilliant GP!

Nothing is too much trouble for him.

He calls me regularly just to see how i am.

He’s popped in to see me on his way home from work on more than one occasion.

He’s young, full of energy, and he probably still thinks that he can make a real difference in the world of medicine. My fear is that his exuberance will quickly become tainted with work load, long hours and mountains of paperwork.

Your ‘call centre miracle healer’ comment was a proper rib-tickler for me cheers buddy!

Following my past experience of having a wonderful female GP that went above and beyond to seeing her dedication and kind hearted thoughtfulness eroded by peers and workload resulting in her leaving the practise and go onto serving in a Private Practise

To this day I swear that her supporting letters when making my DWP Claim gave me the strength to fight on and successfully beat the buggers

Yes such a shame that those who have the human touch are crushed by a system that over the last 13yrs by design and lack of funding is imo quickly heading towards a USA Style health insurance scheme
