I’m a VWG customer, what do I need to know?
Any VWG customer can sign up to OVO for their energy
Our customers with a valid VWG EV order number will be able to claim 10,000 free miles (£212 bill credit) on Charge Anytime.
After we confirm your order number with VWG, the credit will be added to your energy account all in one go.
Every year you stay with OVO, an extra 1000 free miles (£21 in bill credit) will be added to your account.
You’ll earn these extra 1000 free miles each year for 3 years

In short they will give you £212 discount if you buy a new VW EV, plus you are stuck with OVO on one of their standard variable rates for the next 3 years or pay an exit fee of how much, I will stick to Octopus Agile our average per month 10.8/11.5 pence @ kWh, no exit fee.

Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.

I think it might refer to OVO’s charge anytime tariff rather than their SVR

I also believe  “buy (purchase)” as being the ultimate word, as who the offer is for!

I have just been informed by OVO that, sadly, after further discussions with VWG Group, They have decided motability cars will not qualify.

​​I previously worked for a car dealership, and I initially had concerns about what I knew and understood about the Motability programme compared to the new partnership with VWG.

I’ve received a response from one of the programme leads in charge of the VWG partnership, who said, “Motability wouldn’t be applicable; this is for customers who have purchased directly from VWG.”

Sadly, I know this won’t be the news that you want to hear, but the Motability programme isn’t eligible at this time. If any customers on the programme would like to take advantage of the partnership, they can do so as independent customers.
