Any reason this new EV won’t come on the scheme ? The base Sport model has 275 mile range, loads of kit as standard and is £34,990 !!!  Appears a real bargain, large SUV EV comparable to Tesla Model Y for less than 2/3 of the price !

With over 40k of these being pre-ordered, I don’t think they will be doing business with Motability for a while if at all.

This concept car is brilliant and I thought of it ages ago having solar power off the roof of the car. I am really surprised that it hasn’t been done before as it is such a logical way to power a car. Maybe its because it means free energy and motor companies don’t want to provide free energy as it would be less profitable for energy companies and save the planet.

you are right, it’s a great idea, especially in bright and sunny countries. Nissan did have a very small solar panel option for their first Nissan Leaf, I had one but it was only on the rear spoiler.

only enough power for things internally such as radio etc.

I like it very much and at 4.7m long it would be right up my street.

Also there is no other medium let alone large SUV currently in the running pure electric. The 273miles ocean sport puts alot of small cars to shame with how far it can travel, Yet depending on trim it is able to travel 391miles!

I dont think it will come in at £35k  that price doesnt include import fees, delivery fees or registration fees.  be over £40k before its done.  but still a big car for that kind of money

I really like the look of this car, however, I think it’s unlikely it’ll be on the scheme whilst it’s so new.  I’m not sure if they’re taking orders for the lower priced models yet, the initial offering is a special edition.  I’d also wait until  production has happened and they’re in the country before I’d believe viability and pricing.

I do hope there’s a model at a good price with those dog windows in the rear and some of the more interesting toys they’ve been releasing images of over the last few months.  It looks an incredibly capable car.
