We currently have a enyaq sportline x on order but I’m a bit concerned about keeping warm in the cabin in winter as I really suffer from being cold. I often have the heating on 26+ and seats on full not just for warmth but also for stiffness. That and really we need a electric passenger seat.as cannot move the manual very well, Now I see that the iconic 6 comes with the heat pump as standard? Will this make a big difference to the range? + has the electric seat as well. Has anybody test drove them both and what was there thoughts? The only other problem is boot size and awkwardness getting our mini mobility scooter in, I was hoping it would just slide in as it folds flat. Over the boot lip of of cause, Obviously would test before reordering. Any information or experiences with these cars would be more than appreciated. Thank you ?

I wish this was an Enyaq v 5 instead of 6 or even better the 6 came as an estate or at least hatch If the 6 worked for me it would be top of my list tbh. I think it’s beautiful inside and out tbh.
In many ways it applies to the 5 but with minor differences’s, Enyak vs couple if you like 🙂
December 7, 2023 at 12:58 am #251047The Enyaq coupe is a hatch and the 6 is a saloon so unfortunately no use to me. But I like it.

I did use the get out clause – many ways and minor.
December 8, 2023 at 2:48 pm #251146keso, thanks for your suggestion about Biophillic Blue Pearl as a colour choice. I’d convinced myself that my choice would be between Abyss Black and Nocturne Grey but since your suggestion I’ve been looking at pics and videos of Biophillic 6’s.
I sat down with one of my son’s and had a long discussion about the three options. He pointed out to me that I was looking at colours just as ‘colours’, rather than looking at what effect the colour had on the appearance and the shape of the overall car. The Biophillic Blue actually looks two tone purple and then almost black when it’s out of the sunlight, which makes it look far more interesting and ‘sporty’ as befitting what I think is a vey eye-catching car.
He also pointed out to me that my ‘functional’ choice of black leather interior looked less stylish than the light grey leather interior, so if I was going to be brave and go for ‘looks’ I should choose the light grey option. As I will be in the car on my own 90% of the time then maintenance won’t be a problem.
What do you think guys?
December 8, 2023 at 2:56 pm #251148As my kids keep telling me, only here once, go for it!! 🙂
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
December 8, 2023 at 3:44 pm #251154Pops I have seen the black interior and imho it does not look as impressive as the light grey interior which makes the car stand out, but obviously there are others who would not share my view. But as you say you are alone in the car for 90% of the time and no longer do a high milage, so keeping it looking new, won’t be a problem.
I have went for the Ultimate Metalic Red with the Light Grey interior, which the red will be very Christmassy for me getting it just before or around Christmas as it is in the garage next week.
December 8, 2023 at 3:55 pm #251156Phaedra, I’m going to “go for it”!
Callmejohn, your choice of exterior colour and interior is going to be eye-popping!
December 8, 2023 at 4:11 pm #251159Excellent 🙂
I’m sure my kids mean well, but when I ask what they think about me spending money on something for myself they usually start their reply with “Well you are 67 with a bad heart, brain damage and a tendency to fall over or walk into things ………………..” ??
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
December 8, 2023 at 4:37 pm #251161Although the light interior is a free option. How, if any does it affect delivery times.
Although I loved the cream coloured interiors in many BMW’s. I would opt for the black interior (a) its easier to keep clean (b) make the cabin, have more of a blackout look (c) my younges’t is quite messy!
At the end of the day its, down to individual needs or taste, with no right way or wrong way.
Edit: Credit should go to MFillingham for the colour 🙂

December 8, 2023 at 4:54 pm #251163keso, the ‘6’ that I sat in at the showroom the other day had a black leather interior and headlining set up. Even though the sunroof was open it was very dark inside. I’ll do a bit of browsing about leather seat protection before I finally make up my mind, but I’m leaning towards “what the heck, this might be my last ever car choice so go for it!” I’m not sure if light grey will take longer to deliver. I’ll ask on Tuesday.
Some years ago I had cream leather in my black BMW M Sport 320D and it was gorgeous.

If you there is 1 or 2 adults in the car why not. The fact the seats are faux leather should make it easy to clean or remove jean marks etc.

I love colours that appear to change in different lights, the Biophillic blue pearl is a great choice for that very reason, the Ariya has Aurora Green which looks purple in certain lights, black in others and green in others. The 5 has Digital Teal Green which has been said to appear grey, black or green. These ideas are much better than something that just looks good when cleaned and yuck after 2 miles in less than ideal conditions. The red will look awesome when polished to within and inch of it’s life but that’s a lot of work on a 5 metre long curvy car.
