I heard today that the factory has accepted our order but not allocated a build week yet, does anyone have experience of how long it normally takes to get a build week following order acceptance?

How long is a piece of string?, I’m assuming you ordered an 85X SportLine Plus as the SportLine is no longer made.
It all depends what build week they allocate.
As they’re changing over to the MY25 at the moment that could add a bit of delay or they may have MY24 versions still going through the production line which would ship sooner. When did your order? and did you specifically order the MY25 version? if so reports are for delivery anywhere from April onwards.
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
January 30, 2025 at 1:23 pm #296801Nobody knows what model year is going to actually be built. We ordered the 85X Sportsline Plus as you said but they have none going through the line at the moment as we wanted velvet red with the transport package, They did have some Graphite Grey and Race Blue at around week 9.
The order was placed on the 15th Jan and accepted by the factory 29th Jan with no allocated build week yet. The German Enyaq forum reckons that the changeover will be week 9 or there about but who knows and the dealer, Skoda UK and Motability have no clue when the changeover is actually happening. There’s quite a big difference in spec between the facelift models especially with Sportsline with HUD and the variable boot floor coming as standard.
February 10, 2025 at 6:53 pm #297451I’ve been told by Motability today that if my order is for a facelifted model then I’ll have to pay the AP that will be released for that. The old model is only being produced this week and next and after that week 9 the factory is retooling and production starts week 10. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

That doesn’t sound right. You’ve been quoted the AP when you ordered, that’s what you’ll pay.

February 10, 2025 at 7:56 pm #297453That was my response as well but they reckon because it’s a different model then they can cancel the order as it can’t be fulfilled so a new order would need to be placed. The live chat got difficult after that so said I’d see what the new payments are going to be.
February 10, 2025 at 8:56 pm #297454I wouldn’t be surprised if you ordered in wk10, you’d be palmed off with the remaing stock of the current model after what happened last time, especially if the new model hasn’t made to the scheme
February 10, 2025 at 9:17 pm #297455Only two are available in the UK at the moment, one in Dundee and one in NI and neither have the Transport Package which we need to get the wheelchair in and out. So at the moment, I’m playing the waiting game to see what happens again with pricing and or the accepted order at Skoda. Hyundai Ioniq 5 N Line S is the backup plan.
February 10, 2025 at 9:45 pm #297456We ordered an 80 January 24 and collected September, it was the upgraded 85 model that launched July 24. We paid the AP from April as it was lower than January’s and dealer agreed to lower it.

Speaking to the dealer tomorrow to get their opinion and get something agreed.
