High quality silica for chips is in short supply. All the world’s chip fabs are running at capacity so no room for expansion so shortage of chips for charging circuits, ecu’s etc, transport shortage due to low numbers of flights (freight is used to balance commercial flights so no holidaymakers no flights no freight).

Shipping container shortage as ferrying empty containers back to China isn’t as profitable as sending a faster empty ship to get the next load so no one wants to do the return route so China running out of containers.

Also faster to turn boats around in larger deep water docks so plenty only want to unload in Europe now as its faster than here so shortage of vehicles to get stuff here plus costs go up horrendously.

Everything is a huge mess right now it really us a horrible time to buy or manufacture stuff
