February 20, 2022 at 5:36 pm #178138Could this letter be in connection with ‘Paxlovid”?
This is a highly effective oral pill developed by Pfizer and is recommended for people with co-morbidities.
February 20, 2022 at 5:36 pm #178139Ok deffinately have not had any letter like that @ajn. Sounds good though if you do get a positive test covid.

HuffpuffinI received an email saying the same thing just before Christmas.
A few days later NHS sent me a PCR kit to have ready in case an LFT shows positive. Not had to use it yet – fortunately.
I believe that the idea is to have speedy access to a PCR so that treatment can begin ASAP.

ajn@Huffpuffin Thanks for the detailed reply, that the email you mention seems exactly what I’ve received in form of a letter..
(emails I’m terrible for opening/ reading them unless I’m expecting one).
Sorry for the late reply, hopefully you get my Thanks..
