My Sky TV and Broadband contract was up last week. I always get a deal out of them but was reluctant to accept the current deal they were offering me, around £78 for Ultra fast 59mb broadband, all tv including sport, f1 and movies, Netflix HD and UHD. I let the TV contract expire for 2 days but kept broadband. I  then used online chat to ask if they can offer me anything before I return the box. I got the best deal I’ve had in years. £59 for all the above. It’s important to check what your paying especially TV and Broadband, there are some good deals to be had and the money is better in our pockets than the likes of Sky. They all know people are struggling with other bills and they’re prepared to give  good deals.  Get negotiating!

I fully support your negotiating joejoe. I do the same and nobody should take renewal offers on anything without haggling.  However, to be fair, if we can afford these things, we are far from a crisis!
