Seems lead in and delivery times are much discussed currently so thought I’d keep a basic record of the key markers, give others an idea and comparison.
Mon 8th Aug – order placed at dealership, following two test drives the second of which being for a good hour unaccompanied. (A provisional delivery target of 12/12/22 was entered as something has to be put in)
Thur 1st Sept – local installer (on behalf of WePowerYourCar) attended and installed an Easee One Home charger. They initially offered 25/08 for installation but I couldn’t accommodate.
That’s it so far, to date I’ve no Citroen order number or anything (I don’t know if they provide any follow your car build functionality like VW do?) and we wait to see how long this piece of string is going to end up!
I’ll update when there’s something movement.

Hi, I placed my order of and ec4 on 2nd October, at the Maidstone branch, I know it has been built, and it was expected February, I rang today, 25 March, And they are waiting for 5 cars to turn up from Madrid. I dont blame the showroom, they can only tell you what they have been told. but whoever is holding this up has got some explaining.
I got to sit in my C4 even before it went to the adaption company. The salesman is my Facebook friend as well so he sent a pic of it the same day it came off the back of the transporter. do you know if it’s the old spec? Someone on the the C4 group on Facebook had theirs last week was old spec so when I said it’s better spec he was well happy.
No idea Lee, but I remember looking at the spec change when you bought it to light and on the e version at least, it was negligible and certainly nothing that bothered me. I’m just hoping that the radio is DAB+ and not just dab, otherwise I can’t get Boom ?
Collected today as planned. Just got to get used to the difference from the Sharan now!
All specs as ordered in Aug ( @CF21LEE ) so happy days.

Hi still waiting from August my question is what sort of mileage are we getting in the real world ? And is the car living up to expectations?thx in advance ?
when I won a free tank of Fuel off them I drove to Camarthan. Actually I went down twice as couldn’t fill the tank the first time and the 2nd time they put put extra in to fill it up to the top again and they washed my car.
oh yeah Norev makes the model cars buddy 1/43 scale that one I showed u of mine.

Well it’s early days Ian but so far car is performing well and certainly living up to its comfort tag. Mileage really does vary with environment and right foot! In towns and with the B button switched on for more aggressive regen it seems you can almost potter around with almost one foot driving and keeping the GOM static or even going up! On the hilly country roads I don’t switch B on because it slows you down way too much when coasting down the hills (regen does still take place though) and consumption seems to even out more or less mile for mile range v distance travelled. On the bits of dual carriageway I’ve done so far (same 5 or so mile stretch) it really does vary, ECO mode and 60mph not bad, Normal mode and 75/80, yeah, drops fast. Locally and knowing you’ve plenty in the tank no worries, give it some and let it drop. Long journey, like going to Southampton, I’ll be ECO mode and pottering 60/65, lol. But I knew that and know we’ll have all day to travel on the few occasions a year we will.
Lucky you guys. I’m still waiting for my car. Yesterday I received information that it is already in the UK and waiting for delivery to the dealer. I wonder how long it will last. If they do it by the end of April, it will be half a year late. My Citroen will be ice blue like your Bandit. ?
I have got information that e C4 will arrive in UK on 18.04.Should be ready for collection end of April or beginning of May.

When I picked mine up the dealer was telling me that Citroen had been having major issues with their (then) main transporter company and that they had recently changed companies and that the flow had definitely improved.
hi all over 8 1/2 MTHS and car hasn’t even been built yet was down for march now April build according to dealer. the plot thickens all taken with a pinch of salt took two weeks to get that info ?
Hello, I ordered a Citroen EC4 on 18th July 2022 told it was built in November and would be ready for delivery Dec 19th 2022 but no show. Rang every month to see if there was any news to no avail but it has definitely been built and have order and vin number. The dealers have been chasing Citroen who have been in touch with the transport company and the dealers are now saying they don’t know where the car is but other EC4’s have been delivered even those ordered months after mine but no news on mine. Been on the Motabilty scheme for over 25 years and never come across this before and it’s so frustrating. Really hope everyone waiting for cars gets them without any hassle. Sorry for the long winded post.

Finally, almost nine months after ordering, I’m picking up my eC4 tomorrow. I hope the wait was worth it.
Congratulations Joanna that’s brilliant news and I hope you are loving it. Gives me hope for mine which is also 9 months in the waiting. Been told it’s in Madrid awaiting transport. Fingers crossed

DebBee, be patient. When I picked up my car, they told me that 6,000 cars had been lost during the system change. I keep my fingers crossed that your car will reach you as soon as possible.
Thanks Joanna, crikey 6000 cars lost that’s going to take some sorting. Knew they had changed the firm who dealt with the transportation and there were problems but didn’t release they had made such a mess of the system change over. Have found out via Citroen customer care on Friday that the car is in Madrid waiting to be transported. So keeping everything crossed it will be here soon. Hope you are having a great time with yours.
I ordered a new C4 shine plus factory build with a few extras (sunroof & city park pack), that was at the beginning of November. Was quoted on order a delivery date of mid-April but verbally told it would be sooner. 13 March, told it had been built and waiting to be transported to the docks. 14 May, told it was still at docks in Spain & hoping for delivery for end of month or first couple of weeks in May. No further news, I’m still waiting. I’ve had around a dozen new cars in my lifetime, I’m now 70 years old. Longest delivery time before now was 3 months for a factory build C4 Space Tourer. Hopefully I’ll get to see my new C4 before I leave this Earth.
