Seems lead in and delivery times are much discussed currently so thought I’d keep a basic record of the key markers, give others an idea and comparison.
Mon 8th Aug – order placed at dealership, following two test drives the second of which being for a good hour unaccompanied. (A provisional delivery target of 12/12/22 was entered as something has to be put in)
Thur 1st Sept – local installer (on behalf of WePowerYourCar) attended and installed an Easee One Home charger. They initially offered 25/08 for installation but I couldn’t accommodate.
That’s it so far, to date I’ve no Citroen order number or anything (I don’t know if they provide any follow your car build functionality like VW do?) and we wait to see how long this piece of string is going to end up!
I’ll update when there’s something movement.

Hi I’ve also got an EC4 on order, We ordered ours on the 24th of July. Was hopeful of Aug build, Surprise surprise. No car was built, But I’m ok with that. I’m ok to wait and see

Sweet, the salesman said don’t expect to hear a thing for a couple months. What colour did you go for? I was equally happy with caramel brown or Icelandic blue but swmbo loved the brown!
I was happy to take any if they could pull one from anywhere. But that was not an option so we’ve gone for the Red, I did like the Brown, Even though it’s Orange. But the ball and chain had the final say.

Over the past 10 weeks like everyone else I’ve waited to get a case manager.
Everyone including Motability and Motability Grants say don’t contact them we will get to you.
I tried over 20 vehicles on their list in the meantime and narrowed it down to 4 .
Sent an email with what I tested ,what I needed and explained exactly my requirements.
Grants team when getting to the right person said ,that’s brilliant, saves time .
Got awarded grant last Thursday no bank statements,no income expenditures,just put your proposal properly.
Picked up an out the wrapper Quashqai for £4 difference today.
Just apply properly ,the staff are absolutely superb ,and so understanding .

Well couple days off two months from initial order so emailed the dealer. Have been given the order number now but no build date yet (not surprised). At least with the order number I can periodically check myself on Citroen’s order status page.
Do you have the site address for the order tracking?
This is the only one I’ve found so far. (certainly not as visible as VW were having ordered the Sharan!)
Mad to think the ë-C4 Shine Plus AP was £695 a year ago. Crazy AP now. Bet your glad you ordered when you did.

@CF21LEE absolutely Lee, though I’d prefer it even more if I’d ordered at 695! Definitely wouldn’t be entertaining one at the current AP though, I like ’em but not that much!
Had an email from the dealer today. They’ve had a bulletin saying that the colour Caramel Brown has been removed from the range. So I’ve changed to Iceland Blue.
I’m ok as I liked CB and IB equally anyway, can’t say the Mrs is that happy though ?
Mine and the sisters. I am still glad I had the red but the blue is nice too.

I ordered my E-C4 end of June, had confirmation from dealer that car arrived in UK port yesterday.
He said it should be ready for collection within next two weeks depending on how quickly it gets to the dealership.

That’s encouraging to hear Maniac, fits in with the 16-20 weeks my dealer said they were tending to see for the e-C4. Let us know when you pick it up. What colour did you go for?
I went for the Iceland Blue in the end was Tempted by the red as its a nice deep red colour.

Great news! Did they say why they suddenly had a white one? Did they give any indication as to when your red one might appear if you held out for it?

I have to say, I was putting them under pressure, I found a stock car in one of their group’s other dealerships. Which I didn’t get however it did get my local garage into gear and they went and found me this white one.
First couple of days in the car, I’m very impressed, The ride is so smooth. Hit a speed bump hard by error and had no issue what so ever.

if built likely to be 1-2 weeks to get to UK port from factory (so maybe quicker if already at port) and 1-2 weeks to get to dealership.
so if your really lucky a couple of weeks if not about 4 weeks.
these are rough times based on my own collection.

When did you actually order the car? I’ve not heard anything about mine yet, I emailed the dealer yesterday enquiring but not heard anything back yet (surprise surprise).
Thought I’d share this pic I took a few months ago a ë-C4 with wheelchair storage box. Only thing I thought looks a bit ugly is the electric cable going down the side of the windscreen on the drivers side but I suppose it was either that are drilling holes on the body work.

Hi ordered our e C4 28 July dealer not very helpful no information at all asked about the spec change didn’t even know about that???
