Seems lead in and delivery times are much discussed currently so thought I’d keep a basic record of the key markers, give others an idea and comparison.
Mon 8th Aug – order placed at dealership, following two test drives the second of which being for a good hour unaccompanied. (A provisional delivery target of 12/12/22 was entered as something has to be put in)
Thur 1st Sept – local installer (on behalf of WePowerYourCar) attended and installed an Easee One Home charger. They initially offered 25/08 for installation but I couldn’t accommodate.
That’s it so far, to date I’ve no Citroen order number or anything (I don’t know if they provide any follow your car build functionality like VW do?) and we wait to see how long this piece of string is going to end up!
I’ll update when there’s something movement.

Just rang dealer, car has been built but mob salesperson unable to see where it currently is, he is expecting mgr in tomorrow who can do a deeper check. Will update here if/when I hear results of said check!
Just had update from Mob salesperson. As of today car is in Madrid awaiting transportation.
It’s been 22 weeks so far and he reckons 2-4 weeks further. Guess it depends on how imminent a sailing is.
Ordered on 13/09, in November dealer emailed that it’s expected on 09/01.
Today called for an update – apparently it’s built beginning of December but planned delivery is now 10/03.Another 2 months…

Don’t quote me on this but, I believe the C5X is manufactured in China and ships from Shnaghai to Zeebruge and then to Sheerness. Depending when it’s on the ship, it will take about 50day to reach UK.
Ordered my Mobility Citroen eC4 on 7th July 22, Call from dealer informed expected delivery 28th Nov, no delivery, hold up on delivery to dealer, now 9th Dec 22 will certainly have car by Christmas, no delivery, now 9th Jan 23 YES no delivery, informed by dealer it is a delivery problem and no further estimated delivery time available.
So car made November sitting in field in France,, Citroen cannot deliver ?
Same here John , was built in November, was in villa Verda , and then moved somewhere else , when I asked about in June Citroen said they looking at October delivery, all the others said March ,, I think Citroen said this to get the orders personally
I ordered E C4 on 30th of October 2022.
Dealer said will be built in March,delivery May,June.

Dealer informed that the E-C4 built date at 03/12/2022, but still no VIN/chassis number as in today 2 months later?
Does anyone have better understanding regarding this? Can the car be produced but don’t have VIN?My e-C4 was ordered in early August. The dealer said it should be built by the end of October. At the end of November I received an e-mail that the car will be shipped in the 2nd week of January 2023. After a few days I received information that it will be in the 52nd week of 2022. Today is February 10 and the car is not here. The last information from a week ago is that the car left the factory. It’s in transit somewhere in Spain, but there’s a problem with the shipment and they don’t know when it will arrive in the UK. I wonder how long I’ll wait.

Order update car ordered August getting built march dealer says transport problems sorted saying maybe get it March same guy said November so a realistic date things mid to end April
I have a C5x on order not an eC4. Ordered mid Nov, originally told build week in Dec but got changed to 10th March with delivery expected end May to beginning June.
Had a call yesterday saying it’s been built and now in Shangai awaiting shipping. Apparently it can take 3 months but should be sooner.
Well. Don’t know if any good for anyone. Citroen Cardiff have some e-c4’s in stock. Save waiting. I was offered one but I am not very keen. Just a thought.
I was asking about that option In Edinburgh and Stirling Arnold Clark and was told that for Motability it has to be a factory order… different rules I guess?
Well I was told that you can get your car from Any dealership. It’s just a question of Do you want to travel. As for servicing, Well any franchise will do that for you as they get paid by Motability. I just thought some people would be prepared to travel to save waiting. And I am sure the dealers would appreciate their business. As for Factory Build that’s not so. Motability told me to shop around to see who has what in stock.

Tempting but the AP has gone up and I doubt they’d agree to the Aug 22 one (especially as it’s a completely different dealership) Had they been another branch of the same dealership I’d have pursued further. As it happens I’ve a busy month of March with multiple long journeys so am quite happy to let it ride until the end of the month.
What I meant is that those 2 dealerships said that there is no way I can have the same make and model that they have in stock, I have to continue to wait for the order.
6 months later agent is not replying email inquiries, calls not getting returned.On a ë-C4 Group on Facebook today a member posted they having their Shine Plus tomorrow they said only thing the salesman said they will be getting the old Spec Shine Plus. I said oh you be definitely be happy about that as I said what they will be getting they seemed pleased then.

Positive news, call from dealership that car has arrived and can collect on Monday.
Was ordered on 13/09/2022, collection 13/03/2023, exactly 6 months. Very happy! Also 23 plate!There has been movement!
Just had a call from the local adaptions fitter saying they’ve got the car coming to them next week and wanted to check positioning etc. So the car has obviously made it to UK, I’ve had zero update from the dealer to that effect though (surprise surprise!). When he does contact me ( probably when the adaptions are done) I shall arrange handover for the end of the month because that suits us better!
So. Assuming collection date of Fri 31st that would be 33wks 4days from placing the order in the showroom to driving the car away.
Finally got a call from the dealer today. Collection arranged for Fri 31st 11:00, he’s assured me it will be fully charged.
I got to sit in my C4 even before it went to the adaption company.
The salesman is my Facebook friend as well so he sent a pic of it the same day it came off the back of the transporter.
do you know if it’s the old spec? Someone on the the C4 group on Facebook had theirs last week was old spec so when I said it’s better spec he was well happy.
