Hi there fellow motability alliance
my first time creating a topic hoping for some useful information
thanks in advance
Can anyone suggest a BMW dealer in London that has given you good customer service and support please
as I’ve seen on other topics seems like most are uninterested as soon as you mention motability which is so down heartening

Hi
i have been speaking to a guy at Stephen James Enfield BMW.
He is patient, calm, leaves you alone, arranges test drives and doesn’t mind Motability customers. This is my experience. Conversely the Stephen James staff in Woolwich were shockingly bad.Atif Riaz

I took a chance after my post and contacted Park Lane of all places
spoke to a gentleman called Ryan
very helpful very straight forward which I liked hopefully I’ll make a appointment for next week to check out the X2
the price for the IX1 & I4 Msports are just priced to high for motability in my opinion
Thanks again
February 13, 2024 at 5:56 pm #258262Hi I’m new to the forum just thought I’d share my experience!
Today I cancelled my i4 order and switched to the x2 m sport with the tech and pro packs. I had ordered the i4 sport from bmw park lane in August and still hadn’t received a build slot. As soon as I see the x2 had been added to the scheme I decided to swap. Initially I was going to upgrade to the m sport i4 pro pack but the ap was just too high for a 3 year lease. While the i4 is a stunning car, I couldn’t be happier with my decision. I see the x2 in the showroom today and wow in the flesh it’s amazing and more my type of car. Shawn at bmw park lane swapped the car with no problems at all and overall had great customer service. He also said I will receive the x2 quicker than I would’ve received the i4. So anyone going to bmw park lane you are in good hands!February 14, 2024 at 10:00 am #258305Hi Jack, congrats on your order. We’re considering the x2 ourselves, I thought the ix2 would come on first but it’s good to see motability put the x2 up as soon as bmw released that new engine.
just a quick question, do you know if all colours are free? That pure frozen grey looks really cool. Also did you try get £500 off by saying Marshalls bmw are doing so? Thank you
February 14, 2024 at 4:40 pm #258360Hi,
Yes pure frozen grey looks amazing but I think it costs extra. Not 100% sure though.
I went for skyscraper grey which was free. Added sun protection glass for £330. Was tempted by the panoramic roof!
So glad the petrol version of the X2 was added over the ix2, I don’t have home charging so that was putting me off going electric.
I got the £750 off but didn’t know about the £500 off from marshalls.
I might email them see what I can do lolGood luck
February 14, 2024 at 6:22 pm #258370hi Jack, went to check out the X2 today, I’m from London but away for the week but luckily the dealership I went to today had an ix2 come in. I loved it but Mrs wasn’t happy about the roof being low, we have to duck when going into it other than that it’s an amazing looking car. Will deffo consider it we’re gonna give the q4 sport back a look soon
February 15, 2024 at 12:46 am #258395Hey people
congrats jack in the order, hopefully you should be one of the 1st on the road!
Also want the sun protection glass and really considering the pan roof as my current car (Vw Tiguan R line) has one. When I get into cars without it feels a little weird now.
SUVguy OMG is all I can say Those two together, the to cars I’m considering BEAUTIFUL!
Is that the pure frozen grey?February 15, 2024 at 8:43 am #258397Hi I’m new to the forum just thought I’d share my experience! Hi, I’ve just noticed the X2 coming on, was hoping the petrol X1 had come on. However the X2 is lovely!!
Did they give a possible date on delivery?
Can you please tell me what you get extra with tech/Pro package?
I’ve looked on the configuration but can’t see those packages.
Kindest regards, Chris.
February 15, 2024 at 8:43 am #258398Edit, I’ve just seen it. It’s well worth the extra lay out.
February 15, 2024 at 8:53 am #258405You may be able to extend the lease to 5ys thus making the AP more palatable
February 15, 2024 at 9:08 am #258409The X2 has been removed from the scheme. Hopefully a technical matter and it will rejoin in the next day or so.
February 15, 2024 at 10:17 am #258420<p style=”text-align: left;”>@ele, no more 5 years. Only in very exceptional circumstances.</p>
February 15, 2024 at 10:20 am #258421X2 removed already, liked the look of that, was going to cancel the i4, lets hope its only a blip.
February 15, 2024 at 10:45 am #258426Well that was removed quickly, we were going to order one Sunday.

Not really, once the 3 years is up, you can extend for a extra two years. It’s a very straightforward option. I extend my current car in November.
February 15, 2024 at 11:12 am #258432The rule changed in December.
February 15, 2024 at 11:21 am #258436The rule changed in December.
oh didn’t know that, come to think of it mine was automatically done in November.
Thank you for that information
February 15, 2024 at 12:05 pm #258447Hey KK, it’s not frozen grey, the dealer said it’s one of the other greys can’t remember the name sorry. Also the Audi there is our current q3 I’m assuming you mistook it for a q4? If you go for the pan roof (assuming the x2 comes back on the scheme) keep in mind the glass doesn’t open up like your Tiguan would
February 15, 2024 at 4:13 pm #258477Hi all,
Spoke with the dealer today and he told me it was a bmw decision to remove it from the scheme, hopefully it comes back on soon for those who want to order.
luckily my order is confirmed so I’m happy about that.
Chris, the estimated delivery date for mine is July!
I think you’ll start seeing X2’s on the road from early marchFebruary 15, 2024 at 5:45 pm #258488Thank you for the reply ‘Jack’
You must be over the moon, enjoy!! We were going to order one on Sunday, I’ll keep my eyes peeled.
Thank you.
February 16, 2024 at 7:34 am #258554Interesting thread. I reserved a bmw x2 paid deposit and they cancelled my order. They said they have cancelled all Motability orders so will be complaining since Jack has advised he will be getting one in July!
February 16, 2024 at 11:09 am #258577I just emailed the dealer that showed me the x2 the other day to confirm why it’s been removed, when he gets back I’ll let you know. Personally I think they messed up the AP, only £500 extra for £3988 worth of packs. Hopefully I’m wrong as if it came back into the scheme I’d prefer it to stay the same price or lower
February 16, 2024 at 11:42 am #258584Yeah, i looked at the tech/pro pack, and it was well worth the extra £500.
I remember once the Q3 came on for a couple of days and never came back on.
February 16, 2024 at 2:21 pm #258599theyve already told me its because demand is high so theyd rather service the pcp and cash buyers. but you cant cancel an order once its been placed doesnt quite add up. also the AP looks fine considering Audi q4 is on the scheme and the car is £10k more. the bmw x2 OTR price is only £40k
February 16, 2024 at 3:50 pm #258591My heart sank yesterday when it came off the scheme. We went to see the x2 on tuesday and absolutely loved it and had an appointment booked on Sunday to order one through the dealers motability specialist. The dealer has told me that she has been informed that it was a mistake that it was ever on the scheme and that even if I had ordered it on tuesday that the order would have been cancelled. She asked if I was interested in the ix1 but at the moment an electric car won’t suit our needs. I’m on a lease extension with my xc40 which has been a great car but I’m feeling more and more disappointed with the selection of ice cars on motability, I feel there is a lot of electric cars on motability as many of the dealers are struggling to sell them. Also I feel a few hundred pounds is a fair price for the extra packs as we never actually own the car and at the end of the 3 year lease when handed back they can sell the more desirable cars for a higher price.
