      A wee bit confused.

The link I attached up above, which was on my Google news, showed:

Order Q4 before 31 December, receive car by 31st March.

The link. doesn’t go through to the exact same page.  Strange?

So you’ll need to take my word for it.  I’m sure Audi dealers will know better though.

A news release just today from Audi, so by tomorrow, they should all know. The one’s that pay attention anyway.

Hope this helps in the meantime.

Not really good news for us, David.  I just checked with our dealer and they didn’t manage to place our order for the Q4 with Tech Pack Pro before the 31st October cut off.

          Hi PR,

My Audi Q4 45 version is still on order, no change there.
Just now I’ll need to wait until around 28 April, as the missing part for the Tech Pack Pro, which I ordered will add on a delay of around 10 – 11 weeks, so the only change for me is not receiving the car mid February, like I was told to expect at the point of sale, and has now since changed.

I’m quite happy about the April delivery, as to be honest, finding the deposit, and Christmas next month, it was going to be a heavy tightening of my finances, now I can relax, and the deposit much easier to safe up for.

I realise other people will just want their car as fast as possible.  I’m the opposite.  Cheers.

I’m the same to be honest, March/April is fine for us.  Just don’t really want it to drag on to June/July or later.  Other forums seem to be saying the Tech Pack Pro will be re-introduced around week 12 of 2024 which is mid-March, although our dealer seems to think a modified form of Tech Pack Pro will be re-introduced before then as Audi are working on it now.

For me, much of the Tech Pack Pro is nice to have and I would happily settle for just the Tech Pack if I could also order the panoramic roof as a standalone alongside it.  Seems a bit crazy that you can’t do that.  Most other manufacturers allow the pan roof as an option on its own.  It’s not really ‘technology’ is it!

              Hi PR,

We sound similar in our relaxed demeanor’s, and both thinking, let’s just wait and see.  The best way to be.

I’m hoping it’s no later than around my birthday on the 10 June, as 2 days later, I’m heading off to Euro 2024, all the way from outside Glasgow, down via Harwich, a 1 night stay in Amsterdam, and then across to Germany for 16 nights of hopefully wall to wall memories, and the best one’s too….

The thought of giving the new Audi a proper drive all the way to Germany and back, and taking in those Autobahns too….  Bliss.

              I have a plan B too.

If for whatever reason, the Audi Gods decide to cancel my order, for any reason, or the tech pack pro isn’t going to be possible (like yourself, I want that panoramic sunroof, and that wonderful 10/10 Sonus Sound System), and they tell me this is no longer available, I will instead go for the Peugeot 3008 (2024 version).

I feel that Peugeot, alongside Mazda, are the only 2 other manufacturers that come anywhere close to the 3 big German manufacturers.

There interiors are on a par, as are some of their cars….

I love the Peugeot 3008 interior, for the most part.  That incredible 21 inch display, and the ambient lighting around dimpled effect, stunning.

What I can’t stand are 2 things.  The 3008 material dashboard (bogging!), and the teeny weeny steering wheel….

So, why don’t Peugeot in all their conversations, ever realise, this isn’t in everyone taste, and then offer, even as part of an extra’s package, the option to have a normal dashboard (like the Audi), and a normal size steering wheel too….  I think it would fly off the shelves…

And my decision would have been on the flip of a coin, to be honest.

So that’s my plan B, Peugeot would get my business instead, but c’mon the Audi, my true love.

Don’t really have a plan B, well, only to wait and see what is on the list come January. The Audi is actually a departure for us.  We have had nothing but VWs for donkey’s years. I really don’t like the ID4’s minimalist interior though! Plus, the Q4 seems to outshine it in most of the comparison reviews I’ve read!

                  I’ve had the following cars:

Ford Focus Titanium X 2017 2020 (In my name)A lovely car to drive.  Interior so-so.  7/10

Ford Fiesta ST 2019 – 2021 (In partners name)  Even better to drive than the Focus, so so interior.  8/10

Partner had serious crash after only 16 months.  Was not able to drive again.

Mercedes A Class AMG Line Premium Plus 2021 – present…. (in partners name, me nominated driver) Almost perfect drive, fabulous interior).  9/10

My arthritis has got alot worse recently, so have taken decision to get the Audi Q4 etron.  Much better going forward.

Hopefully now the 45 version hits 0 – 60 in 6.7 seconds, dynamic suspension, and 321 miles to a charge, this car will get the true recognition it deserves.  Like yourself PR, the reviews have been great, the one complaint being the 40 version measly 0- 60 in 8.5 seconds.

The extra 1.8 seconds will no doubts win over any previous doubters, myself included.

It’s a belter.  And together, Audi fans going forward.  Cheers.
