Unless I’m doing something wrong on the SEAT website the Ateca 2.0tsi 4 drive is no longer available, yet it is still showing on the Motability website.

I think its just the search engine still spluttering along.

If you pull a few bells then sound a few whistles it appears.

On the Seat website when you go into “Build it” the 2.0tsi 4drive has gone…

When this happens it usually mean from dealers stock only and as dealers have had very low stock the past couple of years you might be hard pressed to find one but if you can, you can order it through Motability.

There’s been a lot of comings and goings with VAG configurations the last year and while some are due to part shortages others are due to discontinued models or new version coming to market.

The same has happened with the Tiguan that only has the choice of two engines now and no 2ltr petrol there either.

Sorry for misreading your original post.

I ordered an Ateca in October 22 as my first Motability car and have had the date moved twice already due to issues getting DSG gearboxes.  I now have a build date of 4th/5th May as confirmed by the dealer this afternoon. My order is for the 2.o diesel though, which does still show as available on the Seat website.

I did approach VW for availability of their Tiguan as either a Motability or private sale and was told 12 months plus lead time for the 4 wheel drive version with DSG.

Originally scheduled for early Feb 23 delivery my car will hopefully be delivered 4th week of May. I had strongly considered buying something else privately but the Motability scheme includes insurance, servicing and tyres so will hopefully prove beneficial for this 3 year period. My wife has just ordered a new Volvo XC60 with a 4-5 month lead time but got £12k off and 0% finance as an existing Volvo owner, plus 5 years servicing for £1,149., so there are deals to be had out there.
