No, it’s not just you! Added to the sacrificed benefits that’s £15k. I wouldn’t even pay £15k to lease the top spec Santa Fe. My mate has one and I’m not at all impressed with it. It’s big, but that’s the only positive thing I’d say about it.

I understand that only full BEV cars qualify for the home charger.

Depending on your home electrics, you will be looking at north of £650 for a home charger. And that may go up as the government is withdrawing the OZEV on 31 March 22, so that may add another £350.

As for Arnold Clark – yup, pretty typical of them, they are, on the whole, not the best nor most knowledgeable out there. I avoid them unless I have no choice (sadly they seem to be the favoured dealership for some marques in Scotland so it can be hard to find an alternative dealer).

£5k AP, that’s truly ridiculous for what it is.

In life, it's not who you know that's important, it's how your wife found out.

I recently undertook a test drive of a Kona in Aberdeen and was told the reason for them reintroducing accompanied test drives was because they had had several high value cars stolen whilst being test driven uncomplicated in the central belt. @ Abercol I’ve found the staff at Hyundai Falkirk and Glasgow next to the M8 to be very helpful, the staff at Aberdeen were as you said almost useless when I asked about certain things on the car.

I ordered a Tucson PHEV before the recent AP rise and wait for it to arrive. You do not get a charger from Motability and I have ordered one privately, hopefully being able to resolve it all before 31 March 2022.

Obviously the price and style is a matter for the individual, but the interior is a real step-up from previous Hyundai cars in my view.
