Clipped wingsHi Mike,
I have a Topro with the big wheels. 3 years now and worth its steep price – built in Norway. Very stable and copes with rougher foot paths etc. I’m 6’2 and need stability as leg can give way causing falls. It is bulky and just fits in Touran boot. Have a hoist which helps if I’m alone. Also have a father in Law’s Days which I use for the garden. Good seat but small wheels tend to get stuck in ruts etc. Worth checking out at a store as all feel quite different. Best of luck and the. Transition from a stick is tough but does bring benefits like a mobile seat. No more fighting for benches
April 19, 2020 at 8:48 am #111902I have been using a Drive Nitro for the past 3 or so years, I have other walkers but the Drive is far the best, it has the ability to fold up to enable you to get through smaller gaps, it has a seat and a folding basket. However it best feature when you are travelling across uneven ground the frame flex’s (i.e it does not 3 wheel) making it very stable.
You can buy them on the site which begins with an E, I brought my through Lloyds Pharmacy, I paid about £125, I think they are about £150 now, they do accessories for your walking stick and drinks bottle if needed.
Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.

April 19, 2020 at 11:15 am #111914Mike
it was a couple of weeks or more ago I saw them in my local Aldi but not seen one since but they do still have them available on line, I was going to get one to put in the car for days out as at £69.99 I thought they were great value,
April 19, 2020 at 11:18 am #111915I think captain Tom Moore has a drive one it looks sturdy but don’t know which model it is ?
April 19, 2020 at 11:27 am #111916Do you get what you pay for ? Some look better made etc
April 19, 2020 at 2:51 pm #111932Beware!
The width of 4 wheel rollators can be wider than a wheelchair. Make sure that it will suit in that respect if using about the house etc.
A three wheel one we don’t find as stable but at least you can fold together a bit to go through tight spaces.
Have just ordered Tuni Nova ( looks identical to Days Breeze ) for wife to use indoors – 54cm wide.

April 19, 2020 at 4:01 pm #111936When I was looking in store at the Aldi one (someone had aready part opened the packaging) it did seem well designed and sturdy, and reading the spec and the fact it comes with 3 years Warranty makes it a good investment,
April 19, 2020 at 5:32 pm #111942JS it does look good thankyou everyone for the replies I’m reading about th many different models it’s just for outdoors only

Donkey OatieWent for the Topro. much more stable on rougher ground. the bigger wheels roll over bumps and stones which would “check” a smaller wheeled version. Heavier and more expensive but 2 years of daily use its still as good as new

Like the Drive I can see you can reduce the width to get through tight spaces, only draw back the Aldi walker does not have a backrest, however it is still a very good walker and very good value.

April 20, 2020 at 6:53 pm #111996Got the Mother-in-law a “Roma City Walker Lightweight Folding Rollator 4 Wheel Walking Aid” a few years ago and it folds down very small but is very sturdy.
The OH took her to Venice with it and managed to carry it up and down the dozens and dozens of stairs around the city and it was small enough to go in with the hand luggage in the overhead compartments.
I think we paid less than £100 but everything seems to have gone up in price lately.
April 20, 2020 at 10:39 pm #112003That Aldi one gets rave reviews.
April 21, 2020 at 8:41 am #112007Yes I’ve saw the Aldi one on you tube German review but it looks a bit cheap made all plastic but great price
April 21, 2020 at 10:07 am #112016I had a look at one of the Aldi jobs and it was very plastic, not sure I’d want to trust it to last really.
April 21, 2020 at 11:11 am #112021Yes looks cheap and nasty to me but does have 3 year warranty and has sold well
April 22, 2020 at 2:26 am #112066Yes saw them on Argos Adam cheers
