[Brydo]

I’ve been offered this vaccine for the past four or five years but never taken it. Has anyone had it and if so any side effects?

The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.

Yes @Brydo I have had the Pneumococcal vaccine. It was at least 6 0r 7 years ago. For personally, I have not had any side effects after the injection or there after.

Side effects of the pneumococcal vaccine
Like most vaccines, the childhood and adult versions of the pneumococcal vaccine can sometimes cause mild side effects.

These include:

a slightly raised temperature
redness where the injection was given
hardness or swelling where the injection was given
There are no serious side effects listed for either the childhood or adult versions of the vaccine, apart from an extremely rare risk of a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis).
