I ordered mein in mid jan for mid april pickup, The car was at the dealers before lockdown and i picked it up a 2 weeks ago this monday. Maybe worth calling and speaking to Mb. Unless you not in england most dealers have been open since the 1st of june and most cars have been able to be handed over from the 9th of june.

AdeThe motability system is all screwed up with covid, and a lot depends on which part of the country you are in.
I visited the Volvo dealership in Edinburgh yesterday and they have all the systems in place for the customers, floor markings, sanitisers and the salesmen are all wearing disposable gloves.
But the mobility saleperson had only started on Wednesday and he was like a stunned rabbit. He had a pile of folders about 10 high, these are all customers who are in the renewal queue. He was phoning each one to let them know the dealership is up and running, but he has no information of where their cars were. I did see 4 CX40’s just off the transporter and covered in their white protective film.

Surely they know or can findout where a car is in the system, it cannot be lost it has a chasis number. I am assuming it was made as it must of been to be there for mid april handover.
It’s been over a month since they opened, So how long do they need to find it. I had issues with getting mine but it was at the dealers, it was because of the cyber attack on honda, Mb were very helpful and the dealer could not help either although they tried and only the managers were in as well.
i’d give them a call again on monday and if you get no joy give Mb a call and they can then call the dealer for you and findout what is actually going on, as they the ones buying the car from citreon not the dealer.
