Went to Škoda dealership last year and asked how long to get an Enyaq, they said 16 weeks so I ordered it. 10 months later it’s finally turned up and it’s not the car I ordered. Apparently someone forgot to add the Advance Pack to the order even though they’ve charged me for it on the order confirmation.
Asked me if I would take the wrong car till they could get the factory to build another one, told them no way.Waiting to hear from them on Monday to see if they can sort something out.

What’s on the advanced pack? We picked ours up this week, absolutely love it, 85 Ecosuite Estate no extras.

Canton
not verypremium sound, heated windscreen…As @Phaedra said he ordered for Canton sound but, most of the options aren’t needed due to remote climate functions available on EV’s.
@Warpig why not save yourself a couple of grand?September 14, 2024 at 1:48 pm #288634@Kezo is correct
I think the only thing I’d actually miss without the Advanced pack would be the HUD (Heads Up Display) I find it very useful.
The Canton system really isn’t that much better than the standard sound system, certainly not worth the price.
Heated rear seats and rear cabin climate control? do you really need them/it? mine are never used, in fact I thnk I’ve only used the drivers seat once!.
Heated windscreen, pointless on a car you can pre-heat, you get the whole car heated and the ice melts off the screen.
Get you £2035 back and also demand some sort of compensation/goodwill gesture if you accept the car.
Oh yes, I forgot about the crystal face grille, almost the most pointless “upgrade” ever! Absolutely no benefit or improvement to the car, just looks nice in the dark when you open or lock the car!.
If you need the heated rear seats for your daughter then by all means make them find you a car with the correct spec you ordered, Skoda have a car locator on their website, there may be one in the country already that hasn’t been allocated.

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
September 14, 2024 at 1:59 pm #288635The Advance Pack consists of crystal face grill, heated windscreen, HUD, Canton sound system and heated rear seats. I only need the heated rear seats for my handicapped daughter, the other bits come as part of the package. I could save a couple of grand but I don’t see why I should, I ordered the spec that I wanted and I have the order confirmation which includes the Advance Pack for £51,300. I don’t feel inclined to give them an easy way out by taking a lower spec car seeing as they mislead me about the delivery time from day one.
September 14, 2024 at 2:25 pm #288637You can get aftermarket heated seats for the rear, eithet, as a fitted option (£250-£350) or as a standalone heat cushion for peanuts, which is what I did for our disabled daughter, before having the Hyundai.
At the end of the day it’s up to you but, something to consider 🙂
September 14, 2024 at 4:13 pm #288643My question is would any of you feel happy about trusting this dealership again?
I think not, my first point of call would be mb ops, from home after telling the garage to stick the car.
I mean, extended wait time by 42 weeks. Topping it off its the wrong car I mean did no one check it on ordering.
There are somethings you can’t accept this being one of them!
September 14, 2024 at 5:47 pm #288649They got to have a stock car with your spec somewhere. They made the mistake, they should pull their finger out and make your order good from the stock list.
What they have is not the car you ordered.
September 14, 2024 at 7:11 pm #288652That’s a strange coincidence that yours has turned up WITHOUT the advance pack, Just like mine!
Has something been going on at the factory, shortage of parts or something or have Motability customers been sidelined in favour of retail customers!
I’ve accepted the car, saved 2K, got £500 compensation & a free Ceramic treatment for the disappointment & failure to fulfil the order!
Pick it up next Wednesday once my Covid infection has gone!

September 14, 2024 at 11:05 pm #288665I’ve noticed on the German forum that there are reports of cars arriving missing some options so it could very well be due to a parts shortage. It could also be to speed up production to clear the backlog of orders before the Elroq starts production soon.
The big problem us Enyaqers have is that there is very little unregistered stock in the country to choose from should something go wrong.
September 16, 2024 at 12:05 pm #288712Which dealer was this?

I won’t name them publicly because I know it wasn’t done deliberately but I believe you recently had a bad experience with the same dealership.
September 17, 2024 at 10:39 am #288749No such thing as coincidences, not the only person at that Dealership to be waiting well over the expected delivery times and to be delivered a stock car from somewhere else… I’d be checking with Skoda directly and asking when it was ordered. And I wouldn’t hold my breath, the Pulman complaint handler couldn’t even apologise properly still waiting to hear what their going to do with the AP increase.

Well I’m done with them now, it was Pulman Škoda at Cramlington if anyone needs to know. After keeping me waiting for almost a year then finding out they’ve ordered the wrong car the only resolution they can offer is to reorder another car and go to the back of the queue again. I’ve cancelled the car, went to a Ford dealer this morning and collecting a Ford Explorer next week. The difference between the two dealerships was like night and day.
September 17, 2024 at 6:44 pm #288759Warpig, I wish you all the best with your new choice and hope you get it next week.
