This is a good watch, if a little scary. ?
I did see this on my YouTube feed but forgot to watch it.
It’s unbelievable the amount that some lose. ?
? I will be remembered for nothing but had great fun doing it ?
December 29, 2020 at 10:15 am #133696We were looking at our Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV design due to Mitsubishi announcement to withdrawal from the European market you will pay £30,000 depreciation 70% £13,000. If I was offered it at the end of the lease I would probably buy it.
Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.
December 29, 2020 at 1:23 pm #133729I would be surprised if Motability offered you the car for £13,000, going by my previous offers to buy I would say they will still want around the £17,000 mark, they say that they look at a long term average and ignore sharp spikes/dips in residuals.

You are probably right, however, due to Mitsubishi announcement price have dropped dramatically.

December 29, 2020 at 6:38 pm #133777May be worth looking for a good example from a dealer at the time, probably with a better service record and a warranty for less money, If the car is being sold to the Motability customer it doesn’t get a service at the end of the 3 year lease and you would have to have that done at your own cost.
My last change was due 4 months after my lease was due to end and as such it had it’s MOT done and a service, when it arrived the week my lease was due to end I had a call from Motability asking if I knew it was going to arrive early as if so I should have informed them so they could have cancelled the service as they don’t do the last service as per their policy, when I questioned them about this if I was buying from them they said it would be my responsibility.

LandymanThat’s a big eye opener. Definitely not going to buy the Rolls Royce or Bentley, have to find something else.
December 29, 2020 at 8:09 pm #133787Only if it came at the right price around £13,000 only I would consider it, to change to a new PHEV would probably cost the top end of the £3750 AP plus a towbar and electric £600 plus approximately £10,000 3 year lease = £14,350.
Then after 3 years use I could just give it to the daughter

December 30, 2020 at 2:03 pm #133862Don’t forget to factor in 3 years servicing, MOT’s, maintenance, tyres, breakdown, insurance, etc.
