The government has implement several levels of bureaucracy for import checks by the border agency and they said any company bringing thing in needs to register to be able to import anything but only a small fraction of companies have bothered.
The customs guy the process will involve 3 or 4 processes that currently dont exist but unregistered companies will have issues from the outset.
An interviewed business owner said they cant register as the rules and information is too expansive for staff to manage at such short notice.
