“Seven seat model does not permit the boot lid to be closed using driver’s door button or fob. My dealer allegedly has the service department looking for a workaround but I think that might be tell the fool anything to keep me at bay. Suspect it will be solved by using an odb11 software fix, which may be an on/off option on the VW Tiguan AllSpace.”
“Seat are apparently researching (asking the factory) whether this can be enabled on the existing seven seat car but are not anticipating a quick response. I suspect it will be a software tweak by a knowledgeable amateur (not me) or a genius in a dealer’s service department before any joy is obtained from Seat themselves!”
