Well for me at the moment I only have 1 lens over my left eye. The right eye no lens as they took it out because I was struggling, getting bad eye strain. So after Thursday These glasses might as well go in to recycle bag. I will need a white stick lol. Until 4 weeks after op when I see opthalmist for new prescription. So as both eyes done for distance, I will still need glasses for distance and reading plus sunnies for distance. Going to be poor after this. In hindsight, should have forked out 4+K for multifocals.

The surgeon through his wisdom impanted +22 lens, which is for reading and makes my current reading glasses way too strong, requiring them to be held at arms length to read anything. Abeit, I can just make out 6/5 line when checked at the hospital last week.

I didn’t have cataracts, but was part of the op, so issed off he decided not to put stents in while doing the op, but carried on with catarct surgey!

For now I’m having the right lenses replaced in my glasses, which the opticians has the facility to do onsite. Only when I’m happy will I pay for 3 pairs of new glasses.
