With this announcement it is safe to say my current lease will be my last with the scheme after twenty years. The ever increasing and to be fair excessive in the extreme advance payments for even a relatively basic car to meet my needs plus vat on the advance payment and now the reduction to half the milage allowance with a 25p per mile charge is madness as I currently cover approximately 20000 per year or to put it £7500 in excess charges. The amount of money involved over the course of a three year lease to be allowed a daily milage allowance of approximately 27 miles for myself who lives rural is just not viable this is a very sad and worrying day indeed.
