Assume a generous 3.5 miles per kW all year round (225 miles) from the Mini’s 64.6kWh useable battery . So for every 225 miles, it would cost £38.11

Assume an average of 50mpg from all the hybrids on your list – £25.57 for the same 225 miles

Therefore over the course of the lease, its going to be c.£507 cheaper to run an hybrid, assuming you do around 200 miles month, whichs bring the most expensive car on your list, the Juke into play. For what bit your saving on the Mini’s fixed WPMS payment throughout the lease, is it worth the inconvenience of having to leave home to charge. If looking at the two cheapes’t Hybrids on the list <£100, you will of course be saving.

If however, you can charge at home (unless your on a journey and need to public charge) the tables turn in favour of the Mini. If you can’t guarantee you will charge at home, I’d forget electric this lease and wait for the governments recently announced boost to support home charging for people without off stree parking to filter through and go electric on the following lease!
