Might be worth asking your local MP or councillor to ask them why you were only given a one year award. Very easy for them to write a letter and ask a few questions which will not affect you in the slightest.
Tell the MP or whoever, they told you on chat you might lose the award if you start questioning it. That is just away for them to say do not question our decisions or we will put you on the naughty step.
