@Glos Guy, its not so much the overall size that matters its the door entry space getting in and out. theres only me and as yet i dont need a wheelchair or scooter although the way its going that might change.
the juke fits yet other similar sized cars t-roc,stonic,captur,2008,captur,austral and chr just didnt work they didnt have the room to get in comfortably.
if an electric has a long range i could get away with 3 weekly charging as i only do 100 miles a week typically and our local dobbies have just installed very nice looking chargers although still not up and running and no idea of cost. but an hour or 2 every 2 or 3 weeks wouldnt be a chore for me. i spend more time than that there now.
with the hybrid at the moment i get over 50mpg and it cost £60ish per month.
