85X all wheel drive, I did my first “long” trip on Wednesday morning, about 58miles each way to the Otterburn range complex in rural Northumberland plus a few miles running about shopping when we got back.

It’s about 80% using the A68, single carriageway, quite a winding road and mainly up bank.  At times, doing a steady 60mph I was only averaging 2.4 miles per kW.  The reported available range dropped by about 80 miles for the 58 mile trip up there.

On the way back, with it being downhill, it recovered to 3.5 miles per kW.

In general running about, most trips around 2 to 9 miles I get about 3.5 to 3.7 with no effort made to be economical.

Apart from collection day the most range it’s reported for a 100% charge is 305 miles, from Jan to about mid April it was ony around 220.

I’d fully charged the car before setting off and charged it again the night we got back.  For a total trip of 131 miles it took 44.5 kWh for the charge at a cost of £3.11, that’s an average of 2.95 miles per kW.  Same trip in my previous Ateca would have cost at least £20-£23 for 3+ gallons of petrol.

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
