I had this exact issue during the last 3 weeks – although 1 alloy for me.
There is no point going to kwik fit as they are pathetic.
1. Contact RAC and explain that you believe you have alloy damage (and say they have already confirmed this). Importantly, refuse them to recover the vehicle to Kwik fit as they can’t do anything with alloy damage. Make sure they understand that it needs recovery to insurance repair centre.
2. (A) File a claim with Direct line Motability. Explain everything and expect them to ask you RTA specific questions like date and time of RTA. My advice would be give the date based upon “It’s become a lot worse this week”.
2. (B) Direct line will arrange a hire vehicle. They do have their own fleet of corsa’s but if this is unsuitable they should be able to arrange a car through Europcar.
3. In a few days you should expect a phone call from the repairer assigned to your vehicle. Make it clear to your repairer that you suspect alloy damage, and RAC have confirmed this. He/She will then carry out inspection and carry out repairs/replacement as necessary.
My car went in on 2nd Apr and was returned on 4th Apr.
Although mine was only one alloy, I would imagine all 3 will be covered under 1 claim in your case.
Good luck!
