I left a bad review on TripAdvisor first day we were here!
Lunch was extremely poor to say the least!. About 3 hours later I got a call from the hotels “Experience Ambassador”, could she come and have a chat with us.
She was very apologetic to say the least! She agreed lunch was not up to their usual standards and I wasn’t the only one who had mentioned it!.
There were also a few issues with the suite and she had someone come later to fix them so top marks for effort. I said I’d take down the review and see how things went for the rest of the week.
Food is getting better, breakfast and dinner are pretty good but lunch again today not so much. We’ve decided to just do lunch if we’re out and about somewhere instead of having it here.
I think we’re off out to Alcudia old town tomorrow and I’ve been recommended a Chinese restaurant there. Monday or Tuesday my daughter wants to walk/hike in the natural reserve a few miles down the coast, I shall do the decent thing and stay here ?
One thing I really miss is my wet room! No grab bars in the shower here, very worried tonight as it doesn’t drain very quickly so lots of soapy water on the floor ?
Not to worry, home next Thursday for 2 weeks then back to this hotel again, this time with the ex wife!!. I’m actually back to Majorca again at the end of April as well!, I’m taking my best friend and his wife. He has idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, so not a great prognosis ? As I recently got the car accident payout I thought why not do something nice for them while I can. Last time we went on holiday together was about 1986 🙂
