Ele, you could do what we did & ask your current supplier to fit a smart meter. Ours was delighted and fitted a SMETS2 meter within 2 weeks, no real waiting time involved. We then immediately switched to Octopus….The switch was onto their standard flexible tariff and we then switched to Octopus Go (couldn’t get OI to work with our Kia) a couple of weeks later.
