thanks for the reply. I just hope this has no problem with me going to order my new car in a few weeks as by then my license will have expired.
Problem I had was that I also requested a change of address at the same time and the DVLA wouldn’t do the change of address until the medical department released the license so Motability couldn’t start my application until the correct address and a valid license date was showing.
I’d recommend you send your license in now for renewal so you should have it back for May then
