Wow I’m amazed at the comments from some very selfish individuals that have responded to this post.
so someone like me who has had muscular dystrophy since birth but never knew it and thought that life was just hard who worked since 15 doing a paper round and then working for the next 35 years paying taxes with a degenerative muscle wasting condition should wait until they are 67 to take their state pension
sorry it doesn’t matter how much money you have your retirement will be unfortunate
But with some help you may be able to be less of a financial and physical burden on your family
Think about other disabled people and what they may be going through and if you can muster up the effort to sign a petition so that they may benefit then pay yourself on the back you are a hero
or just sit back and do nothing the choice is yours
or go one one better and waste your efforts on a nasty comment
