    Thanks, it is a public area, but as you say even though no one walks on it, it could technically be an area someone could trip on, hmm, really no one would walk on it because there is a path around it, it would take longer to walk across it and I am probably the only person who lazily walks in a straight line than walking around the grassed area, because my house is in a direct line from the residents parking area to my house.

    That said the point is, Ohme are there to install the charging point, not to find out how you are going to use it, they don’t need to check that you have permission to walk on the grass or run a cable across, they are only there to install the charging point, if you have a way to access the charging point then I don’t see that it is their business to ask for permission for every little thing.

    That said, I do take your point, I just hope that I can get permission from the powers that be, to install the charging point on my house and they won’t bother how I use it, as long as I don’t drive across the grass (like everyone else does anyway)
