Getting around wouldn’t be an issue, like the majority, I use my phone. However on long distances the temperature in the batteries has a great impact on charging speeds, which is part of the reason the Hyundais stand out.
there is a metric to when the battery will preheat/fast charge i.e 20-30% battery left it will do both, minimal battery left it won’t preheat, due to the allready reduced range. If the battery is warm enough it won’t preheat and still fast charge.
Given the majority of charger currently and likely into the future are 150-200kW, it will hit that speed anyway, unless the battery is really cold.
