It’s funny that we’ll each look out for certain things in a car. In our case I’m 6’2″ and so the car has to be sizeable enough that I’m comfortable when driving and of a seat height that’s easy to get in and out of. My wife is 4’10” and so she has to be able to get in it without issue. We need a decent sized boot. Adaptive cruise is an absolute must on the next car, and I prefer the cruise control to be on the steering wheel on the right hand side. The Mazda CX-5 appears to tick those boxes, but the Ssangyong Torres is likely to as well if that joins the scheme in the ICE version. The Subaru Forester would too but sadly having checked with Subaru this week, they are still no closer to rejoining the scheme.
