Had the same, I asked to test drive a car and was told that I wasn’t allowed to test drive unless they had my custom ‘over the phone’ obviously had this been face to face a different matter.
It was motability’s terms that I test drove the vehicle before ordering part of my cancellation agreement, and the nearest car spec and engine was 40 mins away but my local dealers didn’t have it in stock to test and they are only 15 mins away. So anyway it turns out Audi never got my custom, either garage.
