It could be theusers abusing the product. Seems to be they order a vehicle am then cancel and order another and they think its standard practice. Maybe that is ehy w they are requesting a deposit. Maybe its our own doing??
That certainly doesn’t help but, in reality, I suspect that the number of Motability customers who cancel orders is a minuscule percentage. This forum probably isn’t terribly representative of the wider Motability community, given that a large proportion of us tend to choose vehicles from the upper end of the scheme.
From anecdotal comments from dealers, the issue with cancelled orders of EVs seems to be far more to do with private buyers.
