I’m just thinking it over Kezo many thanks again not a day goes by when I’m not looking at TVs online

Mike, I’m no expert but I do enjoy quality and I can tell you that technology has moved on hugely since you bought your Samsung. For example, I have just replaced my iPhone 11 Pro Max which was in pristine condition with a new iPhone, and the difference in performance over just four years is staggering.

You’ve been getting excellent knowledgeable advice from a number of forum members for some considerable time especially from kezo, so I think you probably know that what you’re trying to do with your old Samsung TV is the equivalent of putting a sticky plaster on a major injury and expecting it to solve the problem.

I don’t know what your financial situation is so this is just my observation based on the number of posts from you about upgrading, but It seems you can afford to upgrade your TV as you’ve been looking at a lot of TV’s that appear to be in your budget, and have got close to buying one on several occasions…. ‘If ‘….you can get past your reluctance to pay the asking price for the purchase that you seem to really want and need.

As I said, I’m not in the least bit technical so this post is just my own take on your long search for TV excellence.

    All the best Mike.
